From the age of three when he saw his first magic show with Magician Roy Kissell at the Michigan State Fair, Tim Wise was fascinated and hooked. He studied Magic’s greats and at the age of 12 performed his first public show in Howell, Michigan. Friendships with Hank Moorehouse and Franz Harary stimulated his passion for the art and at 16 Tim left high school to devote himself full time to the traveling show “Magic Capades” with Magician Dennis Loomis. As an onstage assistant, Tim learned well and honed his craft in shows that took him to 97 cities in eight months, including Alaska and the Yukon territories.

As a 19-year old Tim performed the “Fantasy of Fire” opening act at Michigan Magic Day Convention. And at age 20, he replaced Karrell Fox and did three seasons of MAGIC at the consumer trade shows of “The Electronic Thing” for the Detroit Company, Highland Appliance. To further his career and improve his variety arts background, Tim completed an intensive one-year program at the Dell Art’e School of Mime and Physical Theatre in Blue Lake, California. His newfound education served him well with two traveling shows that spanned 10 years. At age 31 Tim traveled and performed the Game Show “ Blizzard of Bucks” on College Campuses across the country, a three-year junket that incorporated approximately 400 shows coast-to-coast. Tim developed a concept and pitched Game show legend Monty Hall and from 1998 to 2010 produced and hosted the traveling version of the T.V. game show “Let’s Make A Deal.”

The show “Let’s Make a Deal LIVE” has been a huge success, performed for dozens of corporate audiences including the NBA, Coca-Cola, BASF, K-MART. 8/2010 Update. Taking 33 years of Magic and Game show experience, Tim’s passion is back where it started, in Magic. Tim now lives in Las Vegas, and in just a few short months, has become a force to be reckoned with. You will find him on the Streets of Las Vegas as “ WISE the GOOD LUCK GENIE of Las Vegas” a magical character inspired from a conversation with friend and Master Magician Jeff McBride. Tim is also co-host, a regular cast member, and stage manager of the Las Vegas WONDERGROUND Players. Working with the best in the business, Tim has just completed a successful run as opening act for Steve Dacri at the Las Vegas Hilton. What is next? Stay tuned!
